History of The Tomorrow Center
It is said that you can't
move forward until you look behind you. So, as we begin our journey to the future for The Tomorrow Center, we feel compelled
to review what has brought us to this place.
When the Barren River Health Department moved to a new location, this left
a great group of buildings that could serve the Enterprise Community. When we approached Warren County Judge Executive
Mike Buchanan and City officials, they were eager to hear about our vision for the site.
The concept was formulated
that it would provide rental space at a below market rate to non-profit organizations that serve individuals and families
needing their services. Recognizing the overhead costs for these organizations that operate with limit funding, our
vision soon included an incubator environment with centralized receptionist; copier; fax machine and other amenities'
included with the rent.
Housed in the center will be the Evelyn Banks Bohannon Learning Center. This center
will provide a variety of educational services for the young and older residents residing in the EC neighborhoods.
We are truly grateful for Warren County and the City of Bowling Green because they shared our vision for this great site
and on behalf of the people it will serve, we thank them for their role in making life better for so many.
